- Chicken thighs-2
- Kashmiri red chilli powder-1.5 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Chicken masala powder-3/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 1.5 tsp (or crushed ginger and garlic)
- Rice flour-1tsp
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- Oil for frying
- Green chillies-3, sliced legthwise
- Curry leaves-2 sprigs
- Onion-1, thinly sliced
Clean chicken and make few gashes. Make a paste of the ingredients 2-10 in lemon juice and marinate the chicken pieces for 2 hours. Deep fry in oil until the sides are reddish brown. Remove the pieces from oil and keep in a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Fry green chillies and curry leaves followed by onions in the remaining oil. Garnish with onion/lemon wedges and serve with fried green chillies, curry leaves and onions.

ReplyDeleteOh my God.... That looks like the same Chicken pieces that villains eat in the old Malayalam movies!!! I love the way masala is sticking onto the Chicken... guess that is the magic of adding Rice Flour...
